3G–Go-To Leader Profile and Traits
The 3G–Go-To Leader is the third network in the 6G Leadership System. To expand from the 2G to 3G Leadership Network requires several things: First, you must be acknowledged by others with regards to your leadership ability; second, you must acknowledge others’ leadership potential; third, you must be sought after to lead critical business goals and objectives; and finally, you must be able to create magic and deliver extraordinary outcomes.
Go-To Leaders are not appointed. They volunteer and choose to be Go-To Leaders. The key difference between the 2G–Generic Leader and the 3G–Go-To Leader is that the Go-To Leader has been acknowledged as a leader by other leaders from networks 2G through 6G. In contrast, the 2G–Generic Leader has been accepted by peers and others as a one-dimensional leader with limited brand recognition who operates in a general and generic capacity.
If scores from your leadership aptitude identify your dominant network as a 3G–Go-To Leader, then congratulations are in order, because that means that leaders acknowledge your leadership actions, you’ve created magic like Magic Johnson, and you have taken risks that others run from, such as leading complicated assignments, functions, and tasks using teams and your specialized skills and talents.
To help you better understand the profile, Diagram 1 summarizes the profile of the 3G–Go-To Leader and the Acknowledgement App “mindware” that every 3G Leader needs to run on their leadership operating system.
